Seasons of Change Counseling
Finding Connection, Strength, and Hope Through Every Season of Change

Your season of change. Your pace.
Your next step.
I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Cheryl Bryant, and I’m a dementia specialist dedicated to supporting older adults and their caregivers through life’s most significant transitions.
This work is personal.
Years ago, I walked alongside my own mother as dementia slowly reshaped her world—and ours. I watched her transition from a sharp, independent woman to someone who needed help with the simplest tasks. I saw her frustration, her confusion, and her moments of heartbreaking clarity when she knew something was slipping away.
And I felt it all too—the exhaustion, the guilt, the grief of losing her in pieces while she was still right in front of me. I remember second-guessing every decision. Wondering if I was doing enough. Feeling like I was failing her even as I gave everything I had.
There were days I felt completely alone in it.
But somewhere in that long, hard season, I discovered something that changed everything: even in the midst of loss, there were still moments of connection. A shared smile. A familiar song that lit up her eyes. A small routine that brought her comfort. And I learned that I didn’t have to have all the answers—I just had to keep showing up, one step at a time.
That experience reshaped my life and my work. It’s why I became a dementia specialist. It’s why I focus not on what’s been lost, but on what’s still possible—the strengths, the resources, the small victories that are already there, waiting to be seen.
We provide personalized counseling and consulting designed to support older adults and caregivers through the emotional, practical, and relational challenges that often accompany aging and dementia. Every conversation begins where you are and focuses on meaningful steps that can create greater clarity, confidence, and connection. Our Services:
Individual Counseling for Older Adults
Aging can bring changes to independence, identity, relationships, routines, and plans for the future. Our counseling provides a supportive space for older adults to explore these changes, identify what matters most, and navigate this season with greater clarity and peace of mind.
Dementia & Caregiver Support
Caring for someone with dementia can bring exhaustion, uncertainty, grief, and the feeling that you have to figure everything out on your own. We help caregivers develop practical strategies, work through difficult emotions, and find sustainable ways to support their loved one while also caring for themselves.
Transition & Change Consulting
Some seasons of change are expected, while others arrive without warning. Through personalized consulting, we work together to identify manageable next steps, recognize available resources, and create a clearer path forward for the individual or family.
